PMD modulo ONE

Automated in-line quality inspection - on the block

Absolutely unique: In-line measuring on the block

SCHNEIDER’s powerful quality inspection system is the only measuring device in the market that checks the lens automatically in-line and on the block without interrupting production.
PMD Modulo ONE eliminates the drastic time gap between surfacing and quality inspection of current productions. Right after polishing, it evaluates the lenses with high resolution, utilizing deflectometrical measurement in reflection. It measures the full lens map, including diopters, cylinder, and prism without touching the lens.

Early warning system - powered by Artificial Intelligence

The smart system acts as an early warning system as the Artificial Intelligence (AI) recognizes trends and picks up anomalies that may indicate a systematic problem very early on. This way, it makes effective trouble-shooting possible while still within tolerance – before breakage is produced.

Every lens or random testing

Thanks to its very high throughput, labs may opt to implement PMD Modulo ONE to measure every lens produced or as a statistical check.

Maximum value is gained from the PMD in conjunction with the Modulo Control Center that opens up extensive new opportunities to analyze the collected data.
